Think Spring 2020
Contending with Gun Violence in the English Language Classroom
Gun violence in America crosses all political and cultural lines; our English language arts classrooms can be spaces of discourse, analysis, research, and advocacy, for the good of our students, our schools, and our society.
Join us for the 2020 MCTE Think Spring Conference on the campus of Western Michigan University as we welcome Shelly Shaffer, Gretchen Rumohr, and Steve Bickmore, editors of the collection Gun Violence in the English Classroom (Routledge, 2018) for an historic and powerful day of professional development, discussion, and leadership.
